Your Guide to the Best Product Conferences of 2025
If you work in product management, you know how rewarding the job can be – and how challenging. To stay on top of your PM game, you need to invest time to sharpen your skills. Conferences are a great way to do that by learning from thought leaders and your peers.
I used to write a post each year to highlight all the product conferences taking place around the world. Then COVID happened (here’s my last post from 2019). COVID shut down all the conferences, and it unfortunately did so just as product management was exploding. As I noted in my post, the number of product conferences had been growing steadily for years and 2019 had set a new record. I was so looking forward to speaking at product events in Singapore and Norway the spring of 2020, but everything was cancelled.
Now that we’ve returned to in-person gatherings and everyone is craving them, I’m happy to report that product conferences are on the rise again! Like seedlings sprouting up after a forest fire, there are a lot of new, first-time product conferences. So I’m excited to resume my annual tradition. FYI, my list only focuses on in-person events.
Here are the top product conferences coming up in 2025 (in chronological order):
Apr 5: ProductCamp St. Louis – If you’ve never been to one, ProductCamps are local, grassroots gatherings usually run unconference style. They are usually free or inexpensive to attend. The first ProductCamp was in Silicon Valley in 2008. Certain cities had a track record of consistently holding annual ProductCamps, but they all went away with COVID, so it’s great to see them coming back in certain cities. Kudos to those organizers!
Apr 12: ProductCamp Austin – I’m glad to see Austin hosting a product conference.
Apr 29: Product Analytics Summit, Santa Clara, California – This is a new conference put on by The Alliance. I’m excited to speak there. Save 20% with my special discount code “danolsen20”.
Apr 30: Chief Product Officer Summit, Palo Alto, California – Also put on by The Alliance. I’m excited to be speaking there. It’s free to attend but you have to apply for an invite.
May 13-14: Product Led Summit, Amsterdam – This conference is also put on by The Alliance. When they host conferences in a city, they often hold simultaneous events in the same venue for different functions: product, product ops, product marketing, customer success, etc.
May 15-16: Leading the Product, Sydney – I’m glad to see this long-running conference going on strong. I had a great time speaking there in 2017.
May 16: AI Product Summit, Palo Alto – AI is hot, so it’s not surprising to see AI-focused product events. I’m excited to speak at this half-day conference. Use coupon code DAN20 to save 20%.
May 17: ProductCamp, Pittsburgh – This ProductCamp started out strong with their first event Fall 2019. I was fortunate to participate and give a keynote talk there. They have really bounced back well since COVID. In fact, between ProductCamp, PDMA, ProductTank, and Carnegie Mellon University (which offers an MS degree in product management), Pittsburgh has quite the thriving product community.
May 21: ProductCon, New York – Product School has been consistently putting on large ProductCons every year at several major cities. They seem to have settled into holding ProductCon in New York, San Francisco (see below), and London (which already happened in February).
May 22-23: Leading the Product, Melbourne – LTP started in Sydney and expanded to Melbourne, so it’s great to see them back at both cities again. I had a great time speaking at both events in 2016. Adrienne Tan and the Brainmates team put on a great conference.
June 4: rvatech ProductFest, Richmond, Virginia
June 5-6: Product Manager Summit, San Diego, California – This is a new conference put on by Product Rebels. I’m excited to be speaking at the conference on June 6th. June 5th is workshop day, and I will be teaching my one-day Lean Product Management Workshop there. Use my coupon code OLSEN to save $30 off any ticket.
June 17-18: Product-Led Summit, Seattle
June 20-21: Product Calgary, Calgary – I’m excited to speak at this new product conference in Calgary! I’ll also be teaching a workshop there.
June 25-27: Product at Heart, Hamburg
June 30: Product Management Conference, Gdansk, Poland
Sep 3-4: Front Conference, Salt Lake City
Sep 8-10: INDUSTRY, Cleveland, Ohio – If you’ve never been to INDUSTRY, do yourself a favor and check it out. Recently acquired by Pendo, the Product Collective team grew this conference year after year to become one of the world’s largest product conferences. I’ve given talks and taught workshops there several times and always enjoy the energy of the crowd there.
Sep 13-16: PDMA Summit, Chicago – If you’re not familiar with the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA), they are a global community with local chapters in many cities. I had a great time speaking at their 2022 Summit in Orlando.
Sep 16-17: Product-Led Summit, San Francisco – I’m excited to be speaking here! Save 20% with my special discount code Dan20.
Sep 17: Women in Product Conference, Santa Clara – I’m excited to see WIP back in person! I attended and taught a workshop at their last in-person conference in 2019. This conference has such a wonderful positive vibe and sense of community! I’ll be there again this year. Save 10% with my special discount code DANWIP10.
Sep 17-18: ProductLab Conference, Berlin
Sep 18: CPO Summit, San Francisco
Oct 7: Product Peerspectives, Prague
Oct 8: ProductCon, San Francisco
Oct 10: ProductCamp Chicago – I’m excited to be giving a keynote at this event! I keep hearing great things about the growing product community in Chicago. As a Northwestern alum (and Chicago style pizza lover), it’s always a treat to visit.
Oct 14-17: Inspire Africa Conference, Kigali, Rwanda
Oct 15-17: Productized, Lisbon – If you’re just a short flight away from Lisbon, Productized is definitely worth the trip. André Marquet and his team put on a great conference. I had a wonderful time speaking and teaching a workshop there.
Oct 16: Product-Led Summit, Berlin
Oct 23-24: Product Leader Summit, Silicon Valley – This special, invite-only event for product leaders is a labor of love project organized by me, Ha Nguyen, Gib Biddle, and Vidya Dinamini. This will be our ninth event since we started in 2017. Everyone has to apply and we carefully curate a group of 120 top product leaders. Submit your application now at productleadersummit.com
Nov 5-6: Product Management Festival, Zurich
Early Nov: Product Aotearoa, Auckland, New Zealand – I visited New Zealand for the first time in November to give a talk and teach a workshop at this conference. It was a great event with lots of positive energy. I had a wonderful time interacting with the product communities in Wellington and Auckland.
Dec 2-3: ProductCamp Brasil, São Paolo
Dec 3-4: Product-led Summit, London
I’m excited to see so many in-person product conferences! Hopefully you found one or more events from my list that you’re excited to attend.
Wait, what’s that? You’re still looking for more great product events? Okay, okay, I’ve got one more product event for you.
Lean Product Meetup (monthly in Silicon Valley and streaming live via Zoom) – I’ve been running this monthly speaker series since 2014 and we’ve grown to over 12,000 members. Before COVID, our events were in-person only. During COVID, we went virtual and gained members from around the world. Our events are now hybrid: you can join us live via Zoom or in person in Mountain View, California.
One evening each month, I host the same world-class speakers who speak at the conferences I listed above. Many of them have written bestselling books. My past speakers include Marty Cagan, Teresa Torres, Jake Knapp, Geoffrey Moore, Alex Osterwalder, Christina Wodtke, Ken Norton, David Bland, Laura Klein, Ash Maurya, Nir Eyal, Amy Jo Kim, Tony Ulwick, Hiten Shah, and Steve Portigal.
You can learn more and join our group for free at Meetup.com.
I try to host my speakers for new book launches whenever I can. Marty Cagan launched his books Empowered and Transformed at Lean Product Meetup, as did Jake Knapp with Make Time.
For our next event on April 17th, I’m excited to host AI expert Marily Nika for the launch of her new book Building AI-Powered Products. In-person attendees will receive a free copy of her book, which she will be signing, and you can also join us via Zoom. You can learn more and register here.
I hope you found my article helpful. If you did, please share it with your product colleagues!
I look forward to seeing you at one or more of these events!

May 9th is ProductCamp Boston
